Cool cans! I'll preface this by saying I'm NOT an audiophile in the "traditional" sense, nor am I an experienced reviewer. I've had these for about a day but here's my quick and immediate review - haven't burned them in nor have I used them on a wide range of devices or reference tracks, so take from this what you will. I do a fair amount of work as a musician, amateur sound engineer and home studio owner, so hopefully that gives a touch more credibility.

Packaging was good, as good as expected for the price. Nothing crazy, no beautiful carrying case or anything but definitely sturdy enough for delivery. Build quality of the cans themselves is what you'd expect at this price. Nothing amazing, no metal or heavy components, but there is some strong plastic which, with good care, will last a long time. Beats the crud out of the HIFIMAN HE-350s, that's for certain. I LOVE the detachable cable and that it comes with an 1/8in to 1/4in adapter.
As far as comfort goes, these things are a LOT bigger than I anticipated. I've never owned any over-ears, so I didn't quite know what to expect. I'm admittedly not a huge fans of the pads - they're a bit stiff. I might end up replacing them with something more plush and that provides a better seal. The self-adjusting band is awesome, although for my tall hair it could stretch a litttle bit longer. They feel good anyway for the short 1/2hr sessions I've used them for so far.
As far as sound, I think these are great for studio and multimedia appliations. I've tried them with my iPhone 5s (which actually don't give quite enough drive in my opinion so a good amp might help) as well as my PreSonus interface which drives plenty. The sound on these seems to be pretty flat, neutral, and accurate - these definitely wouldn't satisfy the bass heads or mid-scoop addicts, but someone looking for good detail and clarity in all registers would probably get a lot of mileage from these cans. They may have a slight bump up in the lower middle, but I still have to test on more reference tracks. On the flip side, I wouldn't consider them "exciting" to listen to, but definitely truthful (when compared to, for example, Sony MDR-7506s or V6s which sound really fun and can make even crappy mixes sound). Good soundstage and separation, probably owing to the semi-open design. Good all-around headphones that respond very well to EQ'ing and give enough detail for working with small things like noise gating/clip editing in audio and such.

I think when compared to other headphones of various qualities/prices, these are represented at the *correct* price point. I mean to say I probably wouldn't pay over $50 for these cans, but at $50 I feel like I got something very good and useful, and they're a welcome addition to my small, smaaaaall collection.
