Good build quality. Light and comfortable with clamp that makes them slightly tight, but not overly so (plus from having owned similar headband headphones like the Superlux HD668B I know these can be loosened up a bit). Not the biggest fan of pleather pads, but these are on the softer side luckily. Sound is soothingly neutral and clear with a wide soundstage and good imaging. Got these for my dad and I'm seriously thinking of getting a pair for myself to keep by my bedside and relax with at night while my higher-end 'phones can stay at the desk. Definitely recommended.

I also have the HD668b’s. I want to get an entry level set for my daughter, should I get these or the Superlux? Need a great all rounder for budget price..?

The build quality, sound, and comfort are definitely worth the extra ~$10 USD you'll pay for the AKG. Edit: I guess I could break down further as to why the AKG over the Superlux Build quality: the plastic and metal is noticeably better quality on the AKG. My Superlux pair developed a squeak where the metal headband connects to the earcups early on. Pleather on AKG just feels softer/nicer overall. The AKG while not being premium feeling due to cost, still feels quite solid overall. Can't say that for the Superlux. Sound: the Superlux can be a tad sharp at times, which could be even more noticeable to younger ears. I ended up getting a bit of thicker foam to put over the drivers to tame the treble. The AKG on the other hand was just smooth right off the bat. Comfort: The AKG's headband distributes the weight nicely and puts no pressure points on the head, while the pleather wing-style pads on the Superlux are hard and put noticeable pressure on the head. The AKG's headband is also easier to adjust. The earpads? The Superlux pads are pretty infamous for being a hard and sweaty-eared intolerable experience, and I can attest this is very true. The AKG's earpads are not as hot and they are so much softer and more comfortable. They are even tolerable. When I get my own pair of M220's I don't know what I'll do with my HD668b other than store it for a rainy day or give it away. That's how much I'd prefer the AKG M220.

Thank you very much for your detailed reply. You’ve swayed me to get the AKG’s. You’re so right about the pads on the 668b’s, they are terrible :-) Thank you again, very appreciated.
