TrajedirM220 (same as K240 mkII) have a "busy" (exaggerated) low-mids, recesed high-mids and "clicky" highs. As always with the headphones and sound world is a matter of taste but, IMO have a crappy sound quality for music listening and null use in studio situtations.

heraldo_jonesSure, it is not great but they are also just over 1/10th the price... that should count for something.

TrajedirThe price in my country is 85€, and thinking they are not doing it in both sides ... AKG K701 are 155€ and good for music listening and studio situtation.

TrajedirThe graph is the frequency response from 10Hz to about 20KHz. 10Hz being. DEEP bass that many people can't hear, to 20KHz which is about as high as most people can hear with no comfort (painfully sharp). This graph shows that this is a musical sounding headphone with a warm, acoustic sound due to the bump in upper bass and low mids. Graphs never tell all there is about a headphone but it gives a good idea of what music sounds best for your preference.

TrajedirLeft side = low frequency or bass level. Right side = high frequency or treble level. Some people equate a flatter frequency response graph with a higher quality. Flatter (closer to the horizontal zero line) is considered to be neutral and is what you would need for doing audio mastering. When it comes to just listening for enjoyment people often prefer different characteristics in a frequency response graph. There's no "one size fits all" and similar variations can be accomplished with an equalizer.

heraldo_jonesI read a review of the headphones on polish audiofile site and the author compared m220 pro with k240 mkII and although they use the same drivers they are tuned very differently therefore you shouldn't be looking at m220 pro through the prism of k240 mII's response graph. Moreover they have a ton of positive reviews saying these sound more like 100$+ headphones. And yes, your K701 will for sure have a more neutral response curve but they are almost 3 times as expensive. Clearly you don't need to upgrade but don't dismiss those ENTRY LEVEL headphones.

DetexHis headphones are K701 not K701 pro so the price is more like 1/3rd than 1/10th
