Cavalli design amplifiers only.
That might change but I find it highly unlikely.
Ps: this is not to say a collab between MD and another given brand won't happen in order to offer a stackable DAC, I'm sure it will, it just won't be Cavalli.
In the first post from Alex he mentions that "I think that MD did a really nice job on the box. It is clean and simple, but with some very appealing details (like the vent holes). As some of you have discerned it is stackable."

So this case design would seem to be Massdrop's, and could potentially be common to any upcoming audio product, maybe even an LPS (hint, hint!)
Yea I'm sure an LPS will happen - influencial people within the community that have been in contact with Dr. Cavalli and CT since the inception of the product are pushing for one to be made. Power supplies make a huge difference and I'm sure the responsibles are aware of that.
A dac is surely in the works, too, just don't think it'll be Cavalli unless they want to venture into new territory. Maybe Chord?!
Wish I could be so confident in an LPS, I'm just not sure if the market/profit for it would be big enough to bother.
As for a Massdrop DAC collaboration, please not Chord, there's no way I could afford it!
I think LPSs have enough of a following to be a worthwhile pitch - they're easy enough to DIY and say out of 1000 amps sold, 200 of those customers buy the LPS at you know 75-125 bucks each; still fairly relevant profit for MD and other parties involved imo. Furthermore I think people who are less knowledgeable about the subject would also be inclined to try if the price is right (and if they just dedicate a bit of time to looking into how much of an actual difference a competent LPS makes).
