New to audio, can I use the se input and use the xlr output? Is it worth it to buy a convertor to use the xlr output, since it has more power? I don't have a balanced dac so I'm not going to use the balanced inputs.
you can use the headphone balanced output even with SE input because the amp has a built in phase splitter so you'll still get the benefit of the power output increase.
As for a converter to use the XLR output, I'm not sure what you mean. If you mean you want to use some converter to feed your headphone's SE jack to the XLR output, the manual states clearly not to do this as you will risk damaging the amp. You will want to get balanced cables for your headphones to take advantage of the XLR output.
Ah ok, thank you for the info.
you're welcome! By the way, Sawano's tracks sounds great with the LCX :)
Reason I bought this in the first place :)
