My comment may not be relevant to these MD made products, but it is related to audiophile stuff anyway. So you better have a proper answer to this, otherwise you will lose me and many other potential customers.

TBH I'm really happy that I can put my trust in MD again. Hope that this will be a lesson for MD and for us as well.

Grey market dealings is used in many markets to avoid the producers who's trying to price gounge the consumer.
Your false flag is only doing harm. Grey market = 100% legit. So do your research before you make another stupid post.
The company you should point your anger at is CHORD. Massdrop is doing this to provide better deal for the customer.

There is nothing shady with grey market, which is created by the brand Chord who's trying to price gounge the consumer. If anything is shady, its CHORD practices. Grey market seller benefits the consumer.

Here with MD's transparency, I dont know shit, and thus they become "shady vendors". As I said in the other discussion, if you want to save $50, wait 6 weeks to receive an old unit, without the manufacturer's warranty, BE MY GUEST. I've wasted more than enough time with you. Thanks

jrjr2As guisess93 suggests, read the Chord Mojo drop comments, users are stating the devices they received with missing serial numbers. Others on the Chord Facebook page where Massdroppers received what looked like a "used" Mojo. It wouldn't be so bad if Massdrop had a better return policy.

I received an Aune DAP and realized after two months it stopped working properly and MD stated they only allow returns or replacement if I contact them within 30 days of having received it. My concern is if the Mojo stops working shortly after you receive it, you have 30 days from Massdrop and 0 days from Chord, then you're SOL!

EinTheVarianceMy mistake, didn't realize the Mojo had a 1 year warranty from MD. No, my Aune DAP is covered in their 30 day return policy nothing else. When I contacted them 40 days after having received it I was told they would not do anything for me.

DanLeI didn't look into it (haven't had any issues with anything I bought from here actually) but I assume it'll cover defective products like any other limited warranty.

guisess93Except that it's really not "related". They had a vendor issue with ONE product that was not THIS product. Massdrop is not an evil corporation trying to exploit its own customers. You even linked their own response (which they didn't post here because it's not relevant) yourself.

Are you seriously trying to equate the use of the words "cunt" and"dick"? I don't think you could find one person out of a hundred that would agree. "Dick" is a fairly benign insult, along the lines of "Jerk", "Loser", etc. "Cunt" is one of the most degrading and offensive terms out there. Or, as the urban dictionary states, "Considered by many to be the most offensive word in the English language". Using it here was uncalled for.

MotorradAgreed, it is different by country, but in the US and Canada it is considered to be one of the most offensive words you can use towards a woman. Considering MD is based in the US it will be moderated and considered offensive. From RockyMountains point of view he's not over reacting.
