Anyone from NJ message support yet to get reimbursed on sales tax? Any luck? I did but didn't really get a yes or no answer. Only some disclaimer that MD is subject to sales tax in certain states, and a link explaining that NJ members are charged sales tax except for *clothing items*...e.g. these shoes.

sudoI live in NJ and I've been curious as to why I've been charged tax on clothing items I've bought on Massdrop. I understand the point about their warehouse being a 'nexus' but clothing includes shoes and is exempt from taxes in NJ. I just never got around to contacting MD support. I think I'll send them an email this week.

bhavThey ended up making good with me, but I was a bit frustrated my case was closed twice in the process. There seems to be a good deal of confusion around NJ tax at MD.
Thank god the chukkas are fantastic... They arrived today.

sudoDid you get a refund or a credit for future purchase? I wouldn't mind credit, since I'll probably buy something in the near future anyway. I've been charged tax for all purchases over the past two years, and it just skipped my mind.
Any yup, got the chukka yesterday. Trying to buff out some glue transfer on the uppers but otherwise no discernible construction or cosmetic flaws.

bhavYep got a refund back to my card. Plus nominal credit for my troubles. I also never thought about the tax until this drop. They really should have fixed this by now, but I guess it's been flying under the radar. Hopefully not much longer.
