TinCanFuryIf I had to guess, I'd say poron, as AE has been pairing butyl soles with poron insoles in their newer models.

TinCanFuryI'm not a big fan of cushioned insoles. the three AE shoes I have I do because they have the standard flat leather insole and I've found them to be by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I can only walk so much on cushioned insoles before my feet begin to scream bloody murder. With the standard leather insoles I can walk 25 miles without thinking about my feet. I recently spent 15 days traveling in Europe walking around all day in my AE shoes and not once did I ever think about my feet.
