Current rotation involve Spyderco DF2 and Sage5, Benchmade Bugout and Kershaw Leek CF. This MD/BZ Dogtooth is in my pocket 80% of the time. The exquisite finish beats anything else I have. Smooth pivots due to ceramic bearings. Super sharp blade. Light and long enough for most tasks. Being wharncliffe I find it more useful too. Only thing that puts me off is when used as a steak knife, the Wharncliffe isn't the best blade shape. I intend to take it out hunting as I was quite disappointed with the Spyderco MANIX2 S110V (dulled quickly) and the Besttech Lion D2 (easily rusted) blades.
aman1420True. I have a skinner for that. This would be good to open up vermin (kangaroos. Foxes. Etc) so the scavangers can dispose of them quicker. Nice n pointy!
League544I know. Just hope it was the overheat of the blade when spyderco factory grinded it. Will see how it goes when skinning the next fox. Good thing now i have used a DMT Diamond sharpener and the cpm-sv110 blade is super super sharp. Anyway got a dedicated skinning knife, TOPS bulltrout. Can’t wait to also give that baby a try too!
