Just received my tent and it was everything I expected. I pitched it just prior to a day long rain storm and everything was completely dry the next morning even with strong winds. I do have three very minor suggestions:
  • include some instructions or video on attaching the inner tent to the shell,
  • you might consider moving the cord for holding the shell door slightly more toward the top of the shell, when I roll up that door the weight of the shell with the zipper made a the fabric fall into the opening,
  • create a way for the sides of the inner tent could attach to the outer shell to give a little more room inside the inner shell. you could potentially use the cord that holds the inner door when it is rolled up to attach to the outer shell cord.
ldagsaYeah it would be good to have more instructions. For attaching the inner you can clip the cords at the corners to the D rings, or you can clip them to the grosgrain. The grosgrain is better if you want to easily remove it, while the D ring is better if you want it to stay connected when you pack it up. For the second point, can you roll up the door tighter so it stays in place? I find the door can hang down if the roll is loose, but if it's a tight roll then it seems to stays out the way. For the third point - This is a good idea. If there were a way to pull out the inner to the seams above the doors then you would get a bit more shoulder room. I'll put some thought into this to see if I can think of a way to do it that doesn't add much weight.
