I'm curious about the durability of the floor. I'm from NZ (New Zealand) and the terrain here is very hard on tents. Anyone have any testimonies about this?

JediJesus20D fabric is about typical for a lightweight tent. Some a tougher at 30D but many are lighter at 15D with some even lighter at 7-10D. Mainstream companies usually don't go lighter than 15D (e.g. Sierra Designs and Big Agnes make many 15D models) but some do (e.g. Nemo makes a tent with a 10D floor) Folks commonly put hundreds of nights on 15-20D floors without issue, but these floors can be damaged from sharp sticks, gravel or camping on abrasive rock. So I normally don't recommend a groundsheet since the floor will commonly last hundreds of nights without one, but if your terrain is "very hard on tent" then one would likely be prudent.
