Hey, I just ordered one and I'm wondering if I will fit in it? I use a long version sleeping pad and I'm 6'4.

strongjA long/wide sleeping pad will fit. It takes up nearly all of the floor except for a triangle space at either end, but it fits. There are some photos of a long/wide pad here: https://imgur.com/gallery/pZhHwZ3 The person posting those is also 6'4" and shows some photos of him in the tent. He says he fits, but whether or not you'll fit depends on your expectations. 6'4" is about the max for the tent and at this height the foot of your sleeping bag would often be brushing or pushing lightly on the mesh, but there is a large (6-8") gap until the fly so you shouldn't have any issues actually encountering a potentially wet (from condensation) fly. So if you sleep totally straight a bit of that will often happen, whereas if you are a side sleeper that sleeps a bit bent then it wouldn't. When sitting up, the X-Mid is quite tall (dual 43" inner peaks) but not that wide so you can sit straight up but might brush sometimes on the shoulders. I say it comes down to expectations because if you're used to heavy/mainstream tents, then you'll probably find this a bit small whereas if you're used to ultralight tents this has most headroom than the vast majority of them so you may find it quite reasonable. I expect you'll contact the mesh sometimes but to no ill effect.

dandurstonThanks Dan, looking a your specs I thought I’d fit. Now I’m keen to get it and try it out. I have an MSR hubba hubba nx2, while it’s an awesome tent, I’m trying to get my base weight down. Thanks for the quick reply. Jon
