If you look a the picture the knife sits high out of your pocket, this contributes to the bigger problem. The end that protrudes out is a somewhat sharp point and since it sits high I have scraped/scratched the back of my hand reaching for something else in my pocket multiple times. I have tried smoothing that point with a buffer wheel & had minimal luck.
The blade was perfect for what I'm looking for in a EDC piece but the handle shape was awkward and the clip snagged on everything gifted it to my little brother
Overall this is a great knife. With the button lock pressed it's smooth action running on bearings and drops shot. Perfectly centered, no blade play. The clip however I did not like. The back of the clip stands off the scale by about 5mm and is very angular. So I found it catching on things and being pokey. I took it off and bought a pocket slip on etsy. Now it is heavily in my EDC rotation.
The build quality of this knife is quite good. The opening mechanism is smooth, fast, and reliable. The knife feels solid without being overweight or bulky. When locked open, it feels like the blade is not going to slip or fall shut. That said, closing it is a breeze.
Excellent knife, great quality.
This is good look-er. I knocked off a star because there is just something not all 100% with it... I am glad the button lock works, and I have no problems as others have had. While it is balanced, it doesn't feel that way, like it feels light or a bit off, and the knife is definitely not the most ergonomic holding it with the sharp edges of the design. It looks great in my small collection, but I just don't know how "everyday" it will be.
I bought two of these. They are dead sexy and they are overall pretty awesome. A couple issues to mention. On one knife the release button sticks in when pushed, so the blade is free to fly until you pry the button up. I am going to squirt a little oil in there and see if that makes it get better. The other issue is that when closed the blade has a little rotational play, and the point comes out of the handle. On two occasions I have sliced my thumb pulling it out of my pocket. Those issues aside it is a really handsome knife.
