Man, the Audiophile section of this site is funny. The ship date is two days away and they've said they're on track. If there had been a big problem, they would have said. If any - and I do mean any - of the custom keycap drops went as well as this drop has (being even remotely on time) that community would be through the roof. Cool your damn jets. If there was anything new to say they would have said it before now.
Say it, do it mean it! If you say you will provide additional updates, DO IT. That is all we are saying. Do your damn job!
And they have. They said they are on schedule to deliver when they said they would. If there's nothing to update, why update? To appease the, at this point, two dudes who need constant reassurances that everything is still on track, just like they said last time? Please. Every single drop in this community has the same few people handling it, so to insist they only pay attention to the one thing you bought is dumb. To my mind they have "done their damn job" and done everything they said they would up to this point. You don't need to know every single detail of how they're shipping everything, and to say otherwise is simply delusional, and they *already told you when it's shipping. It would be one thing if they had lied to us at any stage here, but they haven't. You not having patience is not their problem, and if you can't deal with long wait times, why are you buying custom products from a vendor who only sells products several months in advance? I've bought plenty of things from MD, and while they have not always put up the most requested items (DSA Deep Space please), it has never been their fault when they've delayed shipping (*cough*Reaper Bones KS3*cough*), and they have been transparent and honest about why these delays are happening. So, again, cool your damn jets. You're getting way faster fulfillment than the MK community gets.
When a person (with a responsibility to a customer base) says he will: "provide further updates as we get closer", that is what is expected. Failure to do so breaks a trust and is poor business practice. We have no problem with the timeleness of the shipping. I am sure it is on schedule. I didn't ask for, nor do I expect every detail of the shipping. The people handling these drops have a responsibility to their customer base: if you SAY IT, DO IT. It's that simple. BTW I could care less that the MK community gets poor servie.
Didn't say we get poor service, just that they get both more delays and longer lead times, none of which is MD's fault, and we know why and for how long, roughly. And who is "we?" Literally just you? Are you using the royal we? Get over yourself. Besides, as someone who has been here for years, when they say things like that so close to the announced ship date the next update you can usually expect is a shipping notification. That's the way it's been the whole time I've been here. Don't know why that would change just because one guy got impatient.
If you were to look at my previous comments (difficult I know) you would see that they are enorsed by others. YOU seem to have the problem. Personnally I don't give a damn about your opinion.
A'ite. You got here pretty quick for a guy who doesn't care about my opinion. You reply pretty quickly as well. I'm just babysitting automation, what are you doing in the middle of the workday that you feel totally fine responding to some random guy who didn't tag you or even mention you in the initial post? And people upvote all kinds of garbage.
Sorry to be slow to update, but I've been following a lot of communication today and wanted to capture all of it for you. We're hoping that the shipment hits the warehouse early next week and goes out right away to you.
Thanks for the patience, I appreciate that you are excited to get them!
Cool, thanks for the update!
