Do these fold or collapse in any way? There's no picture of this. Supposedly being labeled as travel, you'd think so.
Also would these be an upgrade to my AT M50x? Looking for another set of closed cans.

black_mambaThese can't fold from the way it's constructed. It doesn't seem the earcups could rotate or turn to flatten to a slim profile either.

black_mambaI have the CAL! which are an older derivative of these. I personally think they sound much better than m50x, but they are not built as well, are less comfortable, and lack the removable cable. They do not fold or collapse unless they've made some update there that they neglected to include a picture of.

HeeftyLess comfortable due to the smaller pads? I don't find the m50x all that comfortable already

botistoThe pads are smaller for sure. They are definitely bordering on what some people would have to refer to as a supra aural headphone. The pads are just big enough for me to put my whole ear in but they are not deep enough for me. They put too much pressure on my ears for long period listening but you can change the pads out for other ones. I recommend that you stick with the pleather there. I found that velour eats the bass on these things. The headband is a bit narrow and I find that it makes my head itchy after a while. Comfort is probably more subjective than sound quality though. YMMV

black_mambaThanks for asking this, looks like it's not an upgrade to me.
