>Shipping June 26th, 2018
Is that a joke? I'm not even going to be living where I am now by then... Why the hell does massdrop think half of a YEAR is acceptable for ship dates? Maybe I'll buy in to the next drop of this item, if the estimated ship date isn't over half a year from the start date.

It's just how Massdrop works...If you need something fast, go get it at Amazon Prime instead. I'm trying not to be snarky, but Massdrop doesn't sell things that are readily available a lot of times. These amps need to be made, and God forbids, please give them all the time they need cause I don't want to end up with a bad unit. This is not an excuse for not having a sooner ship date, but it's just how things are. I can't buy this anywhere else so I suck it up and give Massdrop money and wait.

Sure, they can accept more orders by setting the shipping date further, but 7 months... Is this really the best middle ground between us and MD?

These days they always put the worst case scenario as their estimated release date for products like this, expect it to ship much sooner depending how many are ordered

I know you and others might not wish to wait 6 months. However, to suggest that the wait is unreasonable is just plain wrong. First, the Massdrop business model sometimes requires the orders to be assembled for a certain quantity wholesale order, then the factory has to source parts and assemble and ship. Then Massdrop must break that order into the individual orders of the community, and subsequently arrange for shipping. You may not like to wait, but this type of model is appreciated by those who don't mind waiting for this product for this price. Second, the time Massdrop spent in coordinating with the designer and the manufacturer has already passed even before this drop was made available. Your expectation that this item can be just pulled off the shelf and shipped out is unreasonable. Complaining doesn't do anyone any good.
