@CEE_TEE (or any MD person) can you please explain how service will work on this amp if there are issues? For example, if there is a hum, a channel imbalance, or just a general failure of the device in the warranty period? Will MassDrop attempt a repair, and if so, by whom? How long will repairs take? Alternatively, will MassDrop stock replacement units, then just send a replacement to the customer? I'm in on the drop, but I would like to know what I'm getting into. Thanks.
Also, if you had one in your backpack when we had lunch at RMAF, why didn't you show it to the group!
AllanMarcusHey Allan. :) Yes, if there is a failure (issue)...you contact customer service through your transaction record. We will swap out the units (or refund the amp if no units are available). We are holding back some units and that is why the drop is limited to a certain number. The tubes plus the amp will need to be returned.
All details were not yet set, so I wasn't ready to show the amp at RMAF in case we weren't going to be able to launch for a while. As it turns out, even though it isn't the best time to place an order- we really wanted to be able to make this available as soon as we could. Hopefully we'll be be able to get the amps out sooner than expected!
CEE_TEEOh, my credit card doubles the warranty, b ut I need a copy of the warranty. Is there a written warranty post somewhere, or will one come with the unit? Thanks.
