ZDT Jr. died randomly while playing music, doesn't seem to be outlet or power cable issues since those all work as normal with other amps I have lying around, leading me to suspect something went poof within the ZDT Jr. itself. Not sure about warranty as this is one of the earlier units (searching for receipt), but any recourse available for unfortunate morons such as myself, @Drop?

Lyer24It was a full year warranty so I would try Drop first but you might join SBAF forum to get some trouble shooting tips. https://www.superbestaudiofriends.org/index.php?threads/massdrop-x-eddie-current-zdt-jr-official-thread.5408/

Tex1954This is really late but I seldom check here, sorry! I am on SBAF, I go by Lyander on there. Identified it as a blown fuse, but swapping new ones in just doesn't work either, so I'm seeking help from local electronics people cuz my skills in this area are... negligible at best haha.

Lyer24Good luck! I've got one that is performing great and I enjoy it a lot. My first unit had the hum from the transformer. I found a local tech who was able to move it but the hum was still there. Luckily Drop replaced the unit with one that was properly shielded. My skills are probably less than yours. It's a neat amp!

Lyer24Hi Lyer, did you managed to find out the cause of the blown fuse? I had the same problem. Replaced and blown again.

komashitaNope, plan to send it off to a competent technician as soon as I'm able, which is going to be after quarantine lifts here... whenever that might be.
