No Sub woofers W9 drivers that the Legend X series has but this it s less then half the price of the custom Zeus -XR The low end won't have the physical presence as their IEM's with the sub-woofer drivers. I will have to pass but if feeling bass isn't important to you this might just be a steal. The ChiFi IEM manufactures are starting to put a lot of price pressure on the Empire Ears and 64Audio 's of the world.

functionaldocI personally guess these would sell around 1100 dollars, while the legend X is 2300 on their website. Also worth noting is that the legend x is their current flagship and people paid a lot of money for it. They would be cannibalizing their existing business if they offer them here at a discount.

stormmilkI just checked out Empire's website, and it appears they've completely changed their lineup of IEM's. They no longer offer the Gods lineup, but I'm pretty sure I remember the Zeus series starting at $2,000.

amdee1979The new Zeus XR remains in the legacy category and is priced at 2400 USD, making it 100 dollars more expensive than the legend x. https://empireears.com/collections/legacy-series/products/zeus-xr-in-ear-monitors-custom

stormmilkSo basically the ones here are very different from Zeus XR then? Based on that you assume they will go for $1,100 on the website?

CheX07The Zeus XR has a switch on it, with which you can toggle between the XIV model(this one here offered in the drop), and a new sound signature. I originally thought the drop model would cost 1100, but it turned out to be 999.
