The seam on your quilt exists the same on all Wide Revelation quilts, regardless of where it's made. Usually the widest useable fabric size is 54-56", therefore all wide quilts need to have two fabric pieces sewn together at a given point. Some other quilt designs can hide this seam if they have straight vertical baffles, but that is not possible on the Revelation with it's six-sided design. So all Regular/Wide and Long/Wide quilts have this seam and this is normal. @GregoryH @Cardamomtea @JimmyY @SaltnPepper

DannyMilksThanks @DannyMilks for contacting EE regarding the seam. I appreciate it! Glad to know it's normal in the wide variant. It was just a bit concerning as none of the photos from the shoot featured it (obviously a regular was used). Can you comment yet on the uneven distribution of down and variance of down fill in some of the quilts shown in the photos? @SaltnPepper has mentioned he/she sent their quilt back to EE for repairs, which I think shouldn't have happened if quality control was tighter.

JimmyYWe sent a bunch of quilts from our stock to EE, and they've received a few quilts from members directly. They're evaluating the quilts, letting them loft overnight, and then they'll get back to us later today or tomorrow with an answer. We'll send an email out to all members who bought these quilts with whatever news we have, and I'll post it here in this discussion as well.
One thing that we're finding is that we were likely slightly too conservative in the stated weight of the materials (fabric and baffles). It looks like both items have come in a little lighter than we anticipated, so the good news is that all of the quilts are lighter than originally thought! (and it's not because someone skimped on the down)

DannyMilksOh this is so frustrating. I called EE last week and I was told they weren't fixing any of them. So now I am supposedly being sent a quilt from Massdrop, but the processing time was 1-3 days, and it has been 3 days, but no shipping info. Ship time is 3-10 business days. I need this by next Thursday -- no way that is going to happen now. Again, I live close enough to EE that I can just drive down to have my defective one fixed. :-(

DannyMilksGreat! Thanks Danny for the update. I've measured the quilt again and it's definitely getting 6.5-7.5 cm loft on the outer baffles, however the centre baffles of the quilt are only getting about 4.5-5 cm. Whilst I don't believe they skimped on the down my quilt definitely has more down on the outer edges.
