I love the weight of this knife. It just feels good in your hand. The RWL34 steel is a bit unique, this is the first knife I’ve come across that uses it and I’m a fan. Enjoy some fun facts on the history here: https://damasteel.se/story-of-rwl34/
So, I own over 100 knives, love collecting, some customs, some high end Benchmade/Spydie etc.
This is more of what you’d expect from a custom or midtech.
I have the purple mokuti and it doesn’t disappoint. Action is fantastic, perfect detent and lockup, no stick, perfect centering, no play, and the sound it makes when deployed is the most satisfying of any knife I own.
I agree with some detractors that the thumb studs are maybe, well, it would be better without them, but that’s really just whining about degrees of perfection.
Worth $300 any day of the week, feels like some knives that are twice as much.
Very impressed, just outstanding
The knife has a nice heft to it. Not too heavy but definitely not made to disappear in the hand. I have larger hands the ergonomics are very comfortable for me. Love the sculpting on the handle too.
This is one of the best knives I own, affordable and great action. It is in my carry rotation, but when I do have a second knife in case of heavy duty application need. More of a show piece and light duty work.
It’s been 7 weeks since my order was sent. 2 weeks since my order was marked as delivered. 4 emails sent to Drop to advise that nothing has arrived. 2 reply’s but 0 help.
You DROPed the ball on this one guys (see what I did there. Seriously though I’m pissed).
ShanedelantyI suggest that people check with the shipper when packages are delivered, but not received. Most shippers track the delivery by date/time and actual location. I have recovered many packages by contacting the shipper. Also, my neighbors and I are reasonably honest and we make sure the wrongly delivered packages get to the right person. The last issue is that, in some areas, packages get stolen off of porches after delivery. I have security cameras which help determine whether items were delivered, though cameras are not a perfect theft prevention device.
