Just unboxed the Crux and it feels great for a $125 Ti frame lock flipper. The Satin finish is finer than expected, it shakes shut but doesn’t free fall. I belive it’s a decent $200 blade with an action that reminds me of a Spyderco Southard. It is reasonably smooth and although it is a great value, I would not compare it to $400 Midtech (247/XM-18) or even a ZT 0562CF. The Crux is a very different knife but it’s an insane value when compared to other blades in its price range (Spyderco PM2 or Benchmade)
One issue I have with Crux is a rough edge on the lock bar, a few dozen flips and I began to notice it wearing into my callused thumb. I also done care for the choil, it’s shape is similar to Busse’s snag free choil and it’s gentler transition into the bevel on the blade side could cut a finger if your hand slips. There is one last issue I have with the Ferrum Forge Crux, it has the same great aesthetics as the Mordax and Archbishop, but the fit and finish are so dissimilar that it’s impossible to compare them.
