We do appreciate your views on the pricing adjustment, but I've read all the reviews and most of the support tickets for the Gent Select, and the "majority" of negative comments are not actually about build quality. Mostly, people find the pivot screws comes loose after a number of open/close cycles - that's not build quality, it's a consequence of WE Knife not using very much threadlocker during assembly, which members have specifically requested. After that, the next most common issue is from people bending pocket clips, which is kinda just a thing that happens when you own knives. This clip is thinner than most, by design, so that it sits low and is not conspicuous in a pocket. There are also some people who just didn't read the specs and thought it would be larger, or for some reason were expecting the Gent to be a workhorse, which it obviously isn't designed to be. We've seen fewer than 1% of members ask for exchanges or returns due to manufacturing defect. We understand people prefer to pay less for things and if you think the value at $100 is acceptable but not at $120 then we respect your opinion, but I wanted to clear up any misconceptions about build quality - WE Knife has earned a stellar reputation for their build quality, and they stand behind this and all products they make (for Massdrop). We stand behind them, and the warranty that is offered jointly on this knife by WE and Massdrop. Thanks for taking the time to let us know how you feel, I hope this addresses any concerns about build quality for you and other members.
