Massdrop x Fitsok Merino Hiker (3-Pack)

Driven to make an everyday sock that fits better, feels better, and keeps you comfortable mile after mile, we teamed up with Fitsok: a US company that has changed what we can expect from the classic 3-pack. We took our favorite elements from the company’s ISW Isolwool Trail Cuff sock, and made it thinner, lighter, and faster drying, with a bit more stretch and several new colors to choose from. The result: the Massdrop x Fitsok Merino Hiker. Featuring a soft, comfortable blend of American-dyed merino wool and nylon, this sock is technical enough for hiking, biking, running, and other active pursuits, with a clean aesthetic that’s well suited for daily wear.

Merino wool is naturally thermoregulating, which means it keeps you warm in cold weather and cool in warm weather, and prevents overheating and clamminess by absorbing and releasing vapor. Plus, it’s naturally antibacterial and odor-resistant, so you can stretch an extra day out of your pair when you need to. The addition of nylon takes the durability up a notch, and the touch of Lycra adds just enough stretch. Padding at targeted cushion zones at the toe and heel provide support where you need it, while the lighter mesh weave on the top improves breathability and fit. Plus, the arch compression creates a secure fit that keeps the sock in place and improves comfort. The socks’ long cuff offers ideal coverage for trail runners and hikers, and the Massdrop logo is subtly placed on the interior of the shin, so you can catch a glimpse of it as you pull them up.

The Sock Factory—a premier performance sock manufacturer in North America—took root in 1975 when founder Michael Banks Sr. bought a couple of dye tubs and a dryer from his father.
