How do these feel in the wet? ie torrential rain/sweat puddles for hours? Would this be a good sock for long runs/rides in 30+ heat?

NeilNasdaqi got a reply from another comment, apparently 'performance socks' are not actually for going hard. these socks are casual wear only. (made from cotton, holds water, if you run in these they will become bags of sweat). @Massdrop wtf does 'performance' sock even mean if you can' t run comfortably in the rain while wearing them!?!?!

waywardsonI have some of the other Fitsoks and they are some of the least breathable socks I have. I think I'm going to retire mine, even after a day in the AC at work, at a desk my feet sweat like crazy. I find Adidas and Nike seem to work the best for me.
It is worth checking out the drops for Wigman socks though. I got in on the last drop. They are really good. Even in 30C days, or in ankle deep water.

These socks are not meant to be used in the heavy rain, they perform extraordinarily to keep your feet extremely cool & comfortable in temperate normal conditions mostly for everyday activities that may include sports. You can run in them in dry conditions (even in a light rain) and they will NOT become bags of sweat. Just like Porsches and Jeeps - both perform, but each is right for certain conditions - so too are both cotton and wool socks.
