it better be more like the Clear, than the Elear, cause the latter is $488 on Amazon.com.

casualsuedepretty sure it is the elear with extra cable options and different pads... and all black instead... i think that's really the only tuning changes in reality... I would buy these for 399... but 700 is crazy!

zep483You really shouldn't make assumptions if you have no idea. The guy I bought them off, who owns/has owned all Focal's says the Elear is the oddball, and the Elex is much closer to the clear.

marts_sumwhat gave you the impression that I have "no idea"... i have a clear idea and it is what I stated above... just to add clarity to situation... the elex is the elear with all black pain job/massdrop grill and clear pads (but black in color)... you also get the clear style cables... and a balanced one as well (but with black detailing instead of grey... just like the earpad difference...)...
