Massdrop x Grace Design Standard DAC

I don't know if anyone's still reading this, but it's been a few years and I'd like to report that I'm still using SDAC as my main DAC paired with Lyr 3. I've tried 5-6 DACs that are upwards to $800-$1000 (Bifrost 2, Denafrips Ares II, Musician Draco.....etc) but nothing can beat the musicality of SDAC so I keep coming back to it. So if any of you guys are still using yours, don't feel bad and embrace it LOL. But if you managed to find an upgrade that's equally musical but more technical, definitely let me know, thanks!

LOL sorry for only seeing this 1 year later, so I hope you already solved your issue. But to answer your question: 1st thing - This is DAC only, you'd then need an amp to hook up to your HD58X. 2nd thing - This is usb powered, so sometimes the noise will carry through usb. So there is a chance it might still be ok, but if you're worried it's best to get a dac and amp that's powered by its own power (i.e. plug into a cellphone charger or something then plug into the wall, or has its own power adapter). In any case I hope you got everything sorted out already lol.

hi , i have hd58x and when i plug it to the pc it doesn’t sounds right there’s like a buzz in audio ( because of the pc and i don’t think the aux jack is isolated ) but when i plug the hd58x to the laptop it works just fine , so first thing - will this dac work with my hd58x ? 2nd thing - will this solve the problem?
