GUTBWhat do you mean, "Not a real DAC"? This is as much of a DAC as any other DAC of this price, Modi 2, ODAC, OL DAC, Sanskrit, they are all very similar. Not everyone here is buying a Yggdrasil.

A "real DAC" features a high quality power supply, balanced topology with top-shelf DS chips at the very least. The closest "budget" product I've heard to a real DAC is the surprising DragonFly Red which almost reaches real DAC status in such an inexpensive and small form factor.

GUTBWow! I own something that Gutb doesn't qualify as garbage (Dragonfly Red). I guess you feel that it is a below mid-fi Quality Dac that may drive my semi-garbage headphones (HD6xx)... Gutb, please take a walk...
