CokemanDefinitely an option too! Personally I've always found Monoprice just a little too cheap, but you're right about the PYST be on the expensive side.
simon--pooleYeah they aren't the best quality, but I couldn't bring myself to spend $25 on 6in RCA cables. You literally could get 50ft RCA cables for under $20. PYST cables should be $5-$10 IMO.
simon--pooleEh...that's subjective. As long as you aren't using the absolute cheapest RCA cables, whether or not something like a Monoprice cable, vs a Schitt cable would affect sound quality is debatable.
CokemanTbh my past experience with Monoprice would categorise then as the absolute cheapest (threw out the previous cables I bought from them in under 24 hours) but perhaps they've improved since.
grayvzAnything that meets your aesthetic standards should suffice-- RCA cables are positively ancient technology & shouldn't be capable of affecting sound at all, short of simply not working.
cliff_hangerthats rubbish, rca cables are important, you normally get what you pay for, much like anything, not sure on your system, but normally pay %20 of what your system is worth,
madmax69Man that’s one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard. You are saying that you should buy RCA cables that cost about 20% of your system’s worth? So if I had a $4000 DAC AMP setup you are telling me that I should buy $800 RCA cables? GTFO
madmax69How mature. If you are going to be a troll, at least be a good one. If you are telling people to buy $800 RCA cables then no one is going to take you seriously man. Please leave.
madmax69LMAO man you aren't even trying, worst troll ever. I think you are the one who can't read. " But they did beat my DIY interlinks, if only by a whisker " That is about speaker cable, which is different from RCAs man. Just stop ok before you look like more of an idiot.
