This is massdisappointment! Maybe in trying to be trendy with their slick social media ploys/ community illusion, massdrop forgot basic business tenets...Never over promise and under deliver/ knowingly mislead a customer (or make it obvious they were mislead). I could see pushing the delivery date back once, but now it just seems like this company is out weighing short run profit vs. decent business practice and long run success. I had the massdrop version in a medium and needed a long. I just got back from a trip using the new version (Black/Red Rock w/ the larger side pockets). The improvement on the sides pockets were well worth spending extra money on. I got it for 150 on amazon with free returns. I thought I would miss the fanny pack... after off loading gear to setup base camp and going for a summit, I though to myself, 1. this pack weighs about as much as a day pack (especially without the brain) 2. backpacks are more comfortable than fannypacks imo 3. you can easily rig up the brain to be a fanny...I just hope granite gear and other reputable companies realize masscrooks is sullying their brand... #massexodus
