These are really good for the price. Detailed treble, if a bit tinny. Suffers from an artificial treble boost, similar to that of some higher end Audio Technica closed-back phones. Bass is good. Like, really good. Hits hard and hits deep! These really impressed me on Daft Punk's Doin' It Right, when the lowest bass note hit with just as much energy as the others. Not much to talk about the mids out of the box. Very thin sound. V-shaped to the max.
I would recommend these to anyone who listens to bassy music (hip-hop, R&B, electronic, etc.), and that's probably all that will sound good with these to be completely honest.
No issues with comfort, and build quality seems pretty solid.
My portable daily drivers will still remain the Xiaomi Pro HD for $25-30. Those things rock.
