For reference, for IEMs I have dealt with these earbuds, the MEEaudio M6 PRO 1st gen, the Massdrop x Nuforce EDC3, and the occasional cheap near checkout earbuds. That list doesn't qualify anything about my knowledge or experience but it should help you see from my point of view.
If all you need to know if they are worth it: Yes they are well worth the $10. Otherwise I will be brief about what stood out during my listening through them in about 10 songs. As other reviews suggest, they are slightly tinny and have a very V shaped sound signature. For some this is easy to forget about, for others it will work against their music preferences. The mids seem to be waiting to be utilized and the bass can be overpowering (at least for my taste, for some songs this is a fun aspect of the earbuds). The construction is only worrying with regards to the cable, especially having to deal with replacing the M6 PRO's audio cable every 6 months. The fit in my ears is just OK. Honestly, that's really the only thing convincing me to give these a 4.5/5 if it was possible. If you have up to $50 to spend on earbuds go for something like the M6 PROs or something on Massdrop for that price, these aren't some magical pair that'll out perform a good $50 pair. HOWEVER, at $10 + around $2 in shipping, this is definitely a great pair of earbuds for the type of person that breaks earbuds often or isn't comfortable with spending more than $10 on earbuds. Perhaps it is also great for the type of person that I am: a forgetful, clumsy, yet particular headphone aficionado that needs a solid alternative when the main pair of earbuds become victim to my poor habits.
