I have read some of the review and agree with most of the complaint on this IEM. It is not only distorted but the sound quality is not as expected coming from Hifiman. Like many other reviewer complaint, this IEM is not worth $10. I totally agree with them. I too have many other cheap IEM that sound much better this one and it cost under $10. I won't blame or criticize Hifiman. I would say it's Massdrop fault. They are the one who created this IEM to sell it to us. Remember, that this is a Massdrop made product and they praise how good this product is and have put their name on it. They did all the product quality cutting so that they can profit from it. I do wonder how do the other IEM product that Massdrop made sound like. Even with the bigger sound tag. Would they be disappointed with the expectation??? :)

flintrockbigger price tag error. One more thing, where is my last sentence. "Hey if you want a loud and bright IEM, then this is for you. I you are looking for bass and sound quality, then look elsewhere."

flintrockcorrection! After listening to the IEM for a few days, the IEM sounded much better. All that horrible sound kinda clear out and all of the sudden, there was bass. Now it sound as expected from the HIFIMAN product but still, it sounded as its price range and cannot be compare to the more expensive IEM. At least, it is not as bad as I originally stated. This cheap IEM is cheap and effective, can't ask or expect for a better sound from a $10 IEM. Nevertheless, it made still feel cheap. That's all folk:)
