This is by far the worst Audio gear I've bought. Makes me want to vomit.
You're better off buying the Monks for $5 or the Monks Lite if you have smaller ears. Might as well grab yourself a burger w/ the remaining money.

In-line controls stopped working after about a week! I guess for the price I can't complain but it was disappointing to say the least. However, if you get a good seal, these are some of the best, if not the best, sounding earphones on the $10-$50 market (i love the bass on these).

So I've got a pretty critical ear. Don't know if I'd qualify myself as an audiophile, tho I'd like to think so.
These are $10. They we're classified as a "fun" sound. A cheap EDC. I can't deny any of that. My OnePlus 6 drives them loud enough and for noisy commuting environments I think they do really well.
Not the most amazing sound, but I like them. Bass is boomy but not crazy heavy. The mids and highs are a bit pronounced but eq them and they adjust rather nicely.
I got in on the Mee Audio blue box thing. Those M6s suck to high heaven. These I have no problem with.

OK build quality, alright sound & mic, packaging was surprisingly cheap (although I don't really mind). Not that bad for $10 but I'm not sure if it was worth the $5 shipping. I expected better from HIFIMAN though. We'll see how long these last.

For people who are still wondering how these sounds, i will give my conclusion as critical as possible.
Pros: Mids are neutral, favor acoustic.
Something in middle: Bass heavy.
Cons: Narrow soundstage, Poor sound imaging (you cant differentiate where instruments come from), highs are harsh.
It is indeed a 10 dollars earphone. At least it works and come with a mic. However, it cant even beat Samsung AKG tuned earphones. Not worth buying for judging that you still need to pay for shipping, tax (overseas) and long waiting time (for me its about 3 weeks since joined drop)
Edit: Also to end those burn in debates, this earphone need almost no burn in at all. My friend at i both bought these and mine are out of the box while his had been burned in for at least 50 hours. Results? Just less bright on the burned in one which is not even significant to be mentioned for.

This thing is awful. To make it worst I bought 3. It is so bad i don't even feel like giving them to my friends.

Honestly, I can't believe how crappily these sound. Yes, they're just 10$ so it's not a big deal, but other IEMs that I own and are less than 20$ sound a lot better.
And yes, I'm an audiophile. While I don't own any hifimans, I really liked pretty much all the regular headphones they made (listening in stores and at shows).
My suggestion to Dr. Fang Bian would be to stop making these, as they corrupt an otherwise stellar brand name.
