Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. These headphones aren't the most comfortable and their treble is just a little to much. You can get more comfortable and better balanced cans for the same amount or even cheaper.
I was able to get past the treble by adding a thin layer of toilet paper in the pads. That brought down the highs to an acceptable level. For comfort, I can't quite say what to do there. I don't have a lot of money, so pad hunting isn't a priority. I've heard that the angled Brainwavs pads do a good bit on comfort and even sound.
ryan explains things more in depth, but this is coming from someone who is just starting out in the "audiophile" headphone world.
Look elsewhere, they suck. Lo-fi dynamics. I very much doubt HiFiMan even makes them.
