Anybody else have an issue with the 1/8" jack not fitting in devices? The only thing it actually fits is the 1/4" adapter that comes them. Tried a few around the house Google Pixel, iPhone 6, iPhone 5, iPad mini and the plug gets a little more than halfway and stops solid.

it could be a product malfunction or it could be that your not putting it in all the way

I sent a pic of my 1/8" plug to Hifiman and they had a new cord on its way in a day. There was an extra green insulating ring on mine that made it almost 2 mm too long so it was bottoming out.

I've got a Pixel XL too, discovered yesterday they have a built in 24/192 DAC. Pretty respectable for a phone!

Yeah I just had bad luck with a defective cord. HiFiMan service was great though.

Yeah, the SOC supports 24/192 but the sound coming out is a bit noisy according to some testing. I just found the built in amp lacking a lil bit. I'm prolly just deaf though

What do you think could cause the left ear to only work when the cord plugged into it is turned to a certain spot?

If it only acts that way in one device but is fine in others than I would wager it is that particuluar headphone jack that is dirty etc. and not the headphone plug itself. Youtube has lots of tricks for cleaning a headphone jack without dismantling anything. However, if the plug has the same issue in multiple devices then I would submit a request to Massdrop service dept and they will tell how to send your receipt etc to HiFiMan who then would help you directly. I found it a pretty painless experience and had a new cord on its way in the mail within a couple days.
