ClementThanks Massdrop! I appreciate having the headphones done the way they were supposed to as opposed to cutting corners in order to meet the date. Can't wait to try these along with the Darkvoice that I just ordered. That will complete my setup.
kunalkumarHey Kunal, you said you were going to get back at me for etas for international orders and I haven't received an answer. I don't need specific dates, I just want to know if I'll be in country when it finally gets to my address. Thanks for keeping us in the loop with everything else though.
hydroforgeFollowed up with our Logistics team. I was told that it would take around 10 business days post shipping from our warehouse to get it to your location. Hope this helps!
btbtbtmakiYou are absolutely right and this is what I was expecting for the money I paid, but I have the impression that massdrop had a 350$ Msrp on them. If I'm correct (my memory can't help me) then this package is cheap...
Darcymcd10 business days after it ships from our warehouse for your location as well. However, please take an error of a couple business days into account.
N0gaiI agree 100% with you, I just thought we might get something fancier with all the fuss and the sales.
I disagree though about the msrp. A serious company shouldn't throw phony numbers to their clients to up the real value of a product. do you agree?
koge99Well, it seemed obvious from the start on that the msrp was set waaay too high on those. But "yeah like little bit cheaper than they are normally" doesn't sound as nice as "HEY THIS SHIT IS LIKE 70% OFF!". I don't disagree with you, but I didn't expect them to actually deliver 300 dollar quality. So I'm not really disappointed by the fact that I get pretty much what I paid for. Also it's pretty common for companies to set the msrp absurdly high.
ItzHysteriaUsually, instead of the parcel, Royal Mail will send you a slip with a serial number on it. You will need to go to the website on the slip, enter your serial number and pay (using a credit card). After a few days, they will send you the parcel. That said, it is possible that you are lucky and don't have to pay the VAT.
ItzHysteriaFrom two previous drop delivered to the UK, Massdrop used DHL which gets the parcel to Heathrow in a few days, once in Heathrow, the parcel is passed on to Customs Clearance Limited (CCL) who will send you a letter via snail mail which contains a "Payment Reference" number. You enter this number, as well as the payment amount (20% of package cost + £8) into the website https://cclpay.com/ . Finally, CCL will pass the package on to Yodel who should get the parcel to you within a few days.
In total this process would probably take about 10 days (because of the snailmail) but you can speed it up a lot by simply waiting for DHL to update the status to "Consignee Contacted for Payment" and then call CCL on 020 8231 0900, give them your Yodel tracking number when they ask for a reference number and then simply ask them to email you or tell you the payment number and the payment amount. The parcel should then be passed onto yodel within one full working day.
From my experience of my past two deliveries, this process has managed to cause the package to be delivered within 5 working days of me receiving my tracking number.
