Finally got mine today too! Amazingly DHL/USPS actually managed to deliver two days ahead of schedule. First impressions...sorry to say but I am rather underwhelmed. I listened to a variety of tracks from classic rock, dance and orchestral and like others have said they sound tinny and thin. I expect open cans to be a bit lighter in bass but these are quite anemic. There is plenty of sparkle in the high end, maybe a bit too much but with a lack of low end the mids suffer and vocals sound thin. Soundstage and detail is decent, again as expected with open headphones.
A headphone amp will probably make them sound a bit better, as I was listening directly out of my iPhone 6+. Turns out they are harder to drive than I expected. I admit I do like my music loud but not earbleedingly so and I had to push the volume up to within two or three notches of maximum to get there.
Build quality is average, rather plastic and creaky feeling. The cable is nice and heavy and appears to be good quality. Packaging was also very nice. Comfortwise I'm pretty sure these were designed for smaller melons. My noggin might be a bit larger than average, but I had to adjust the sliders up to the second to highest notch, and the clamping force is pretty tight.
As with all headphones these are just my impressions, based on my ears. YMMV. I know my expectations were pretty high, especially after waiting so long, but even if I had ordered them yesterday I would still call them average. Maybe they will break in a bit. I don't regret the purchase, but if I had it to do over again I would probably go with some Grado SR-80's instead. I sure hope the RE-00's currently en-route turn out to be good.

CogsworthI've heard from several reviews that you should let them play music by themselves for about 12 hours. It should brighten the lows and midrange after letting them sit for a while. Try that before thinking about returning them. Also watch Z reviews on YouTube for his review. It might solve some of your problems

Stabsk2Yes, I've heard that they need to be burned in. That's what all the headphone gurus say about any headphone that sounds less than stellar out of the box. Honestly I've been collecting headphones for nearly fifteen years and I've never experienced this magic burn in thing. Crap headphones always sound like crap. I'll probably try it anyway.
