Holy hell the treble sounds much harsher than my Beyers. I can definitely hear some bass but pretty much everything is just piercing treble right now. Between the clamp force and the treble my head hurts after a few minutes.

bubblyBurn em in first. Mine are coming up on 24 hours of burn in and are just getting warmer as the go. Listened for an hour this afternoon and much better then last night.

bubblyI replaced the HE-350 stock pads with my slightly modded (I removed the thin piece of fabric) Dekoni Memory Foam pads (meant for DT770/880/990). I put the HE-350 stock pads on my DT990s. I am happy with the initial results in both cases. I am tempted to purchase another pair of the Dekoni pads to see how the HE-350s sound with unmodded pads.
With my Dekoni pads, the HE-350s get a bass boost and the treble gets tamed to a manageable level. I do prefer warmer signatures with forward mids (think Grado SR325is), so take that with a grain of salt. I also find these quite comfortable now. The clamping force is still noticeable though. For the record, I wear wire frame glasses.
