I'm trying to decide between these and the AKG K553s. Could anyone give me their input on which they prefer. I've read a lot of reviews of each and can't seem to decide.

HE-350:
Good soundstage
Good bass
Bad Treble
Needs equalization and physical modifications
Needs angled pads
Detachable cable
Leaks music
AKG-K553 Pro: Good soundstage for a closed set Tight bass with sticker hol mod Very long cable and is non-detachable Physical modifications required to reduce cable length
If you plan to never mod them (bone stock usage) the K553 is a better choice. If you plan to mod them to the fullest the HE-350 is a much better value. TBH, you will want to mod them.
