Are these headphones better sounding than the Phillips SHP9500?
Explain "better sounding"
Soundstage, balance, and bass
No, the Phillips SHP9500 sounds better, and more comfortable.
So why would I want to buy it if the Shp9500 cost almost half?
maybe people like the design of the headphone...I own the shp9500 for gaming and they're lovely. From what I hear is that the he 350 as a little bit better bass and soundstage than the shp9500
I disagree. The Philip 9500 has much better bass, deep and much fuller. They are both open back headphone, so Soundstage is the same. The only thing I like about HIFIMAN 350 is the style and you can mod to your liking.
The Philip 9500 used to cost $200+. Now it is discontinued.
Newegg sells it for 58 bucks should I get it?
it's an excellent deal. You don't have to wait as long, and it has a single 3.5mm jack so you can replace it with any cable. you can attach the v-moda boom pro if you want to game with them. It'll still make them under 100 dollars and you got yourself a great headset.
You will not find anything that sound better than Philip 9500 headphone for 58$. Just Remember that it's an open back headphone, so you can only use it at home.
