What would be the better option for these: - Get a internal soundcard like the Creative Soundblaster Z? or - Get a external soundcard or dac/amp like the Creative Soundblaster X-fi HD?
I have already looked at things such as the SMSL SD-793II, but i need it for my microphone as well.
Anyone got any ideas for a budget around 100€?

My advice would be hooking microphone into your onboard soundcard and buy Fiio E17k: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RPD7KP8/ref=s9_acsd_hps_bw_c_x_6 Because it has solid amplifier and you can use it with your phone/laptop as well.

For gaming, I think the e10k is the better choice, and it's cheaper as well :)

Thanks for the input guys, I am not quite sure though because my microphone quality is really bad with onboard and the volume is really low. Should I then just get a cheap USB sound card just for the mic?
