Would these work with the dark voice drop as well?
I use these on a tube amp and it definitely changes a lot. Personally, I enjoy it.
If you get the 336SE you will need to mod it to use these headphones. Stock you would lose a TON of the low end with that amp due to the design. You will want to remove the three 10uF capacitors and replace them with either a 220uF, or maybe even a 330uF capacitor for these 19ohm headphones. That is the only way you will get any kind of decent low frequency response from the amp. Remember to use 100v or higher rated capacitors (100v is best for size constraints) since the amp has around 70v present running through the capacitors there.
Many people have also liked the sound with 100uF bypass caps installed. You can look up the mods if you want to do those too.
