Got my yesterday. They were shipped on Monday. From somewhat limited listening - I like these a lot. For the price they are outstanding. Bass is not booming, but sufficient. Mids are not as recessed as Beyer 990s - which is a good thing for heavy music. Highs are a little on a bright side, but not over the top. And in some songs where cymbals sound like metal - they do, not just hissing. Comfort wise - they are fine for my head, stock pads seem ok. My advice - give these some time and listen to as many different song as possible... All ears are different. Thanks Massdrop! Now I hope I can get the HD6XX...
