Joeb1kenobiI feel like there's a good oomph in the bass so you do notice it. Works well with EDM.
Not the best detail, some guitars and male vocals are a bit too far back for my taste (when talking about rock, etc.) and get a bit lost.
And the S's and snare drum sound a bit harsh on some tracks (like Killshot - Eminem). But that depends on the song and how sensitive you are to that and how loud you listen to.
Haven't done any gaming with these yet but have to test it later today. I don't think these will replace my AKG Q701 for gaming but we'll see.
For detail the AKG 7XX i got a week ago wipes the floor with these. But there's something I like about with these.
Might do a review later if I can get my thoughts into understandable words. :D
TM80Thanks.That helps.Hopefully I can add some thoughts tomorrow!
The HE-35X were an impulse buy so as long as they're decent I'll
be happy :-)From what you've written I think I will be.
TM80I'm fairly impressed with the bass output in these Hifiman cans. Especially with them being open backed.
I <3 the heck out of my 99 Noir set. Absolutely 100% worth the cost, especially after I replaced the pads with some overly large and somewhat cheap Brainwavz sheepskins and a balanced cable (XLR4 > *).
My only complaint? Those motherfuckers eat my hair if I forget to pony-tail before putting them on. The first time that happened... so painful... both sides caught locks of hair between the cups and the band when removing the cans.
FayneReceived mine yesterday.Your first impressions were spot on!
Good deal for $90.Not sure I could recommend at $120.
Listening to mine balanced(XLR) Loxjie P20.
They remind me of the SHP9500 with better bass.
