Went for this but have since discovered the words "customer service" and "HiFiMan" cannot be used in the same sentence. Can't say their's is the worst since I haven't experienced everyone's customer service (or lack of) but HiFiMan has none that I can see. Even a simple question regarding an existing product goes unanswered and ignored whether emailed, tweeted or facebooked. It's like talking to the cat. OTOH you can call V-Moda and get a real person who listens, understands and responds. Just sayin'. Room and time to up HiFiMan's customer service.
Then you've been immensely lucky and, from the posts and responses on many forums, the exception to the rule.
Or it's a perfect example of the vocal minority. I've also dealt with Hifiman and frankly customer service has always been great. QC has room to grow but that's unrelated.
I can't argue with your experience, I can only describe mine which needed 2 emails, a request posted on the web site, a facebook post, tweets and back and forth messaging to answer my plain request to find out how to buy replacement earpads (or if even available) for a HiFiMan currently sold headphone where none were even mentioned anywhere on HiFi Man.
That's fair enough then. Hopefully you were the odd one out.
