Ended up using BOOM 3D (never use it for headphone virtualisation, it's terrifyingly stupid). So, below is what I did with an EQ.

Was just playing around, but ended up with a quite nice sound to my ears. For me, they had a bit too much of mid-bass (150-300 hz). Also, sometimes I like a bit more bass, especially in the movies.
I'm sure I'll change it later, I'm also sure that this is not the best way to listen to stuff. Can anyone recommend me a cheap but good analog EQ? Feeling stupid having to do it software-based (and that it works only on Mac, not PS4 or phone or anything else).

I tried the same tactic with Boom 2, because I felt the same about the mid-bass. Over time the sound quality through Boom starts to degrade significantly...clipping, distortion, etc. I've tried everything, but now assume it just doesn't work well with a DAC.
If you get the Loki, would love to hear how it works out for you.
