For positional audio/ footsteps for fps gaminf as well as comfort being the most important things
Are these good cans for gaming or should I stick to looking for beyer dt 990s premium 250 ohm? The cheapest I can find those are like $220 which is too much imo for what they are especially when you can get the pros or 32 ohm versions for like $169.
Never owned a planar headphone either but have schiit stack as well to run em fine
I have the dt990 Pro's, and I love them for gaming. They're about $169 on amazon. The only difference between the premiums and the pro's are the cable and the build, the drivers are the same. I cant say anything about the 4xx's, but I heard they're really great too.
For FPS gaming, AKG K701/K702/K7XX (K712 PRO for more "musicality", if you can afford them). They have the biggest soundstage ever, and 3d imaging is excellent. They're also comfy, good for long gaming sessions, and they can be bought for like $200 on Amazon. If you live on europe, they're even cheaper (130€).
