Hi, i have recieved my pair of HE4XX. I started to listen some music and compared to my Sennheiser HD515. I'am still waiting for my headphone amp so as for now i use my Yamaha RX-V1800 AV reciever with the Pure Direct button ON and my Pioneer DV-600AV cd player. I have to turn the volume twice as loud as with the HD515. Even though they said it's easy to drive. I have got high expectations. I don't want to say the HD515 is better sounding, but i am very close to it. Now i am a bit dissapointed. What did i do wrong? OK and why does it sound WAY better with my Macbook Air??? Will it sound better with the O2 amp?

hellishspeederThese are nowhere easy to drive lol. They have a low impedance but an incredibly high sensitivity meaning you need significantly more power to increase the volume compared to a typical pair of dynamic headphones. It will sound much better with the O2 amp as it will have the power it needs to function well
