Are the HE-4XX 's L/R jacks 2.5mm or 3.5mm. The ones I have seem the same size as the Input 3.4mm jack. very confused as the only replacements I can find are L/R 2x2.5mm to 3.5mm with included 1/4in adapter.

turbomustang84Did you use them at all?? They do fall apart very easily unfortunately and forums and blogs are filled with unhappy buyers.

HIFI778Mine are used several times a week. And other than a screw backing out and having to be adjusted and tightened they are in New condition.... I've got them on now and they are great . I can not equate my experience to the others that have had problems... I do know a fellow Head Fi member bought a pair used and he bought them knowing they were broken and the people from Hifiman actually stepped up and helped him even though he had not purchased them new which seemed impressive to me . But every pair of Sony Headphones I've bought in the last few years have failed from a structural issue and the two Hifiman Headphones I've bought are still going strong.... So either I've just been lucky to have gotten two pairs of great Headphones from them or others are unlucky? But from what I've seen Hifiman has a pretty good record stepping up to help their customers and they actually sent me a Sundara for me to check out via their Loaner program which will arrive today... So to say I'm a fan of the brand is an understatement but it's based on just how good the stuff I bought performed and continues to perform... There are many more positive reviews on these than negative but if you are having problems just contact Hifiman and give them a chance to address it .... I think they might surprise you

These are just under two years old and I've even bought a cable with mic and remote so I can use these with my phone.. And being I'm disabled from cancer and no longer can work I guarantee I use these more than most people use their headphones and still in perfect shape . And at $130 what incredible deal....
